Elo Company is parte of the 30th edition of the Sunny Side of the Doc, an international market dedicated to the documentary genre that takes place annually at the french city of La Rochelle.

The documentary "An Unsung Soldier," the first film produced by Elo Company, was one of the six titles selected for the pitching in the category Social and Human Interest, being the only brazilian project amongst them.

This is the first film directed by Maria Carolina Telles and was made from images of conflict taken over 10 years by São Paulo photographer André Liohn, winner of the Robert Capa Gold Medal Award, the most important worldwide prize for war photography. In addition to the shocking images, the film aims to bring reflections on the impact of social media on wars and journalism in conflict zones.

Representing Elo Company, Mary Morita, sales manager, and André Antunes, executive producer, attends the event. The two will be there to show some film productions to the market buyers such as "Povo da Floresta", about the legacy of Chico Mendes, "Niède", about the history of the brazilian archaeologist Niède Guidon, "Torre das Donzelas", awarded at Rio, Brasília and São Paulo festivals and selected for the Havana and Cairo International Women's Film Festival, "Cravos", selected for FICCI, from the same director of "Espaço Além: Marina Abramovic e o Brasil", and "Santos de Todos os Gols", about the most top scorer football team in history , with testimonials from club idols.

The 30th edition of the Sunny Side of the Doc takes place between 24th and 27th June.
