In the coming months, Elo Company will be present at various events around the world introducing to the audiovisual market the new titles available in the catalog and the projects to come.
The first was the TIFF - Toronto International Film Festival, one of the largest in the world, which takes place between September 5 and 15. One of the titles presented was the fictional feature Through Ernesto’s Eyes, directed by Ana Luiza Azevedo, who tells the story of an old photographer who is going blind and trying to live with the limitations of old age. The film is a release of Label Elas, an initiative of the Elo Company that aims to promote the production of women in the cinema.
Also presented was the documentary An Unsung Soldier, the first movie produced by Elo Company. The film is directed by Maria Carolina Telles and features strong images recorded by photographer André Liohn for more than ten years in conflict zones, reflecting on the impact of social networks and fake news on war journalism.
In addition to TIFF, by the end of the year Elo will also bring its titles and projects to MIPCOM, the world's largest entertainment market in Cannes (France); MIP Cancun, Mexico, an event for companies that produce and distribute content in Latin America; Busan International Film Festival in South Korea, one of Asia's most important film festivals; and Ventana Sur, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the most important audiovisual content event in Latin America.
